  1. That World record Bass was caught at Dixon. I don't know why but the guy could not have it IGFA certified so he released it. It was found a few weeks later floating dead by the docks. National Geographic actually did a show on Big Bass and that was one of the featured stories.
  2. Make sure to check what lakes are open on the days you want to go fishing most are not open all the time. If you can make a drive of about an hour and a half definetly recommend Diamond Valley Lake it is north of San Diego but fishing has been and probably should be awesome especially with the spawn on!!! Good Luck
  3. I'm looking for a good travel rod, something that can break down and fit in a normal size suitcase either bait casting or spinning any reccomendations??
  4. Great advice guys caught my first 2 bass Sun. Evening after the Charger debacle drop shotting 5 in purple worms missed a couple as well, really appreciate the tips!!!
  5. Thanks Guys going back this Sun. will try drop shotting and see what happens!!!Weather should be absolutely perfect just had a cold front move through and maybe keep some of the planted trout from going deep immeadiately and help out the bite usually use a larger bait than 4.5 so maybe downsizing is the key!!!
  6. I live in Moreno Valley and Fish Lake Perris a couple of times a month from the shore. I have fished the majority of the shoreline with literally no luck been skunked every time! Now I'm no Pro but consider myself a pretty competent fishermen and have caught fish in every region of the country but have no luck at all at my "home" lake!! I have tried every lure in my box and have now reached the point of total frustration! Anybody out there that can help with any tips at all ????
