Try an albright knot. Never had this break at the knot. I used 20 pound braid mainline and a 50 pound flurocarbon leader (Toothy critter setup). Have not tried it with a light fluro leader so dont know if you will have the same luck with lighter line but may be worth a shot. Good luck.

Just checking out the board. I fish a good bit (3-4 days a week) and spend 95% of my fishing time on Lake Marburg since I am only a mile from the lake. I have always done well there. Had a little over a 7 pound large mouth from the lake earlier this year. I fish for just about everything freshwater (bass, carp, pike, musky, walleye, etc) and saltwater fish from time to time. Looking forward to reading posts on the board and helping anyone looking to fish lakes I have knowledge of. Attached a few pictures of my better fish this year. Greetings everyone.
