  1. Only tip I have to make sure you check your states DNR regulations/rules on makeing and/or dropping brush piles if the lake you plan on dropping them in is not a private lake. Many states can and will stick you with a hefty fine if you are caught without the proper permits to drop brush piles.
  2. Lake is open with the exception of the 2 areas: 1. IP point to the RT 54 bridge to the north, there is a barricade strung across that is quite visable. 2.Eastern side from Dewitt Bridge to the Rt 48 Bridge is closed yearly from Oct 10th till March 31st. 1st area is closed off to prevent lake access to the power plant area and the 2nd is closed because the hot water discharge enters the lake in between those bridges and tons of fish and other wildlife head to the area when the weather gets colder.
