Looking for new rod
Thats not a bad idea . But I found out that a boat shop, 30 miles from here, is carrying St. Croix. I owned an Avid or premiere 10 years ago (paid $110). Never liked it, didn;t fit my hand. I am going there Wednesday to look at a Legend Tournament. Teaser rod. Can you give some names of people who do custom rods?

Looking for new rod
Like I said earlier, I dont get the opportunity to see a lot of rods. Has anybody got the Loomis Mossy back jig and worm rods. What would you compare it to??? Some say the lure weight rating for G.Loomis is to low??? I dont know I would use a M or MH. I was thinking the GL MossyBack Jig & Worm Cast 6'8" hanks

Looking for new rod
I have a $250 budget and looking for a rod to throw unweighted plastics. My budget just went up $100 due to having Ky and UConn in the final 4. I'll get 1st place requardless. This rod will be placed with the Lews Tourny Pro. Just got it last week. I would to use it for light line baits. Heaviest might be a 1/8oz/6 inch worm/lizard. Lightest would be an unweighted finese worm. Up for any suggestions. Thanks

New Lews review
For those of you who own the Lews Tp and Curado 50, which would you own for throwing light line. It would be paired witha a Lamiglass 703 ML for 3-5 inch senko, trick worms and such.

Sufix 832 review..
I just got back from Lake Guerrero in Mexico. Used 80% of the time. I had it on all soft plastic rods. Although we didn't catch any big fish(my biggest was 5.2lb.) it held up GREAT with all the stick up and rocks. I pulled out a lot of fish out of junk with NO breaks. I was also hung up quite abit and pulled out some large vegatation and straightened some gammy EWG superline hooks. It casted and flipped great. It was a little stiff to start, half a day and KVD cond it loosened up a bunch. Sensativity was great! Like the other guy said it didn't bleed just faded. Used 40lb, and will use it all the time. I usually like to keep trying different types of line, but I will keep using this for braid.

? about what to buy for a finese setup
I fish alot of unweighted finese worms in a lot of clear water pits. I started off trying to fish with what I had. which was the lightest rod -med-fast allstar classic rod and a 150 calcutta or cardiff. On days it wasn't windy wasn't too bad. Next year I bought a Spirex and Berkeley Lighting. I could cast further, but acuuracy was terrble and I dont have the opportunity to fish enough with it.. So this year I would like to buy a 7' Med/Lt casting rod and finese reel. I dont want to spend more than $300. I hear alot about Curado 50, but not much other. So any advice is accpeted.

Which paddle tail swimbait
I am looking for a paddle tail swimbait, 5" or bigger. I like the looks of the Kamakazee Treats Swimbaits, Basstrix Paddle Tail Swimbait, Strike King Shad-A-Licious Swimbait and Berkley Powerbait Hollow Belly Swimbait. How do you rank these, or others?

Moderate-Fast Graphite vs Glass Rod for Crankbaits
I just bought the Cabelas Prodigy in a Mod/fast taper to use for cranking. It be a couple of weeks before I use it, but I have an old BPS cranking rod. The bibg difference I see first is the weight. The graphite is lighter.

$100 or less at Cabelas for cranking rod
As I stated I ordered the Prodigy rod. I called 4-5 stores to see if they had it on sale and none did, so I paid $99.99. That was Tuesday. Today i was looking online and the prodigy was $59.99. I called back and Cabelas gift carded me $40 bucks. So the prodigy is now $59.99. ;D

$100 or less at Cabelas for cranking rod
Thanks. I have looked at Cabelas and there a few that can fit. Before I decide I wanted to hear from those who have crank rods. It will be paired with a 6600 BCX @ 5.3-1. I am going to Mexico and it will have a 3" fat Free Shad hooked to it. I will also use it back home for med crankbaits. Chicity, how is the weight of the prodigy?
