  1. I've heard that when there is enough water in pool 14 that it can be good, but i've never really spent much time there. and pool 16 where i'm at would be good if we had some more vegetation, but from what my dad told me the flood of '93 really took all the vegetation out and it hasn't came back yet.
  2. if anyone needs a partner for a tournament at boji i'm in NW Iowa until middle of May when i graduate from Sheldon. I've was at the lakes almost every weekend over the last summer fishing bank and had decent luck with jigs, tubes, and chatterbaits.
  3. I love fishing wooded points of islands in late summer/early fall, and in the spring, where the water is warmest that is usually the key. I would still like to hear other opinions on where and how to fish the river, wherever you're located at on the muddy Mississippi.

  5. Hey everybody, I'm 21 from Western Illinois, been fishing the Mississippi River my whole life. My favorite pool so far to fish is Pool 13 which runs from Bellevue, Iowa to south of Savanna, Illinois. My home pool is Pool 16, it runs from Rock Island, Illinois and it runs down to Muscatine, Iowa. I have fished some tournaments with my dad and a buddy of mine. U.S. Anglers choice out of Pool 13, and Quad City Bass Club. If anybody has fished any of the water I have and needs a partner for this coming year let me know! Thanks for your time!!!
  6. I Live on the Mississippi River in Illinois just south of I-80. I was just wondering if anybody has fished from pool 18 to pool 13. I know the water pretty well, I've been fishing it my whole life. But I was just curious if anybody has fished the same waters I have, and what size of fish you've pulled out. Thanks for your time!!!
