What is the best braided line for casting I use a bait caster reel. normally I use Stern mono 10lb but I have been fishing lilly pads and its killin me. thanks for the help

just wondering what hard baits people are using top water and under water, colors and how you fish them. Thanks I use top water heddon zara puppy chrome black shad walk the dog under water bps xps nitro extreme egg texas shad 0-1 reel stop reel under water bps xts jointed minnows fire tiger 0-3 reel stop jerk jerk reel as you can tell I dont get to fish deep water.

I just moved back to port st lucie because my mother is ill. I have been in the house for 3 months now with her and she is getting better so I'm looking for a little out. Anyone have any sweet spots in port saint lucie for bass i don't have a boat and I need to stay with in 20 minutes from my house. Thanks. P.S. I only catch and release.
