I have had a couple of off brand electric filet knives in the past and have been disappointed. I'll probably be buying from bass pro and they carry a few different models in a couple of brands. Has anybody used the Rapala or Berkely models in the $40-$50 dollar range? If so, which is the better buy? Bass Pro also carries the Mister Twister and Gensu. Thanks for your input.
I'm wanting a good spinning rod light to ultralight on a budget. I'll rig it with a Shimano Spirex 1000 model with 6lb fluorocarbon. I plan to use it for river fishing for smallmouth and possibly trout and white bass. I've been looking at the Shimano Voltaeus 5'6" UL for $40...any thoughts?
I've been fishing for several years, but have never taken care of my reels like I should. Is oil better than grease or vice versa, or do they need to both be used in combination with eachother?
In the last couple weeks I have been catching limits of crappie with Mr. Crappie Hi-Vis line stump fishing. Later in the year I do a lot of night minnow fishing for crappie. Does anybody know if the hi-vis line will work fine for night fishing?
I'm wanting to spend around $60. I'm planning on rigging the reel with 6lb test and use it mainly for white bass.
The 3 are
*Shimano Spirex
*Pflueger President
*Daiwa Regal
