Beautiful job John, I've framed the two crank baits I've recieved from you in a shadow box. Hung them in my den. I will be airbrushing my first baits this weekend. I'll post some pictures soon. It's great to have such a talented gentlemen on this site. Gives all of us beginners someone to emulate. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work. thomas

what do you use to carve your lures?
I use a bench drill press, scroll saw, 1" belt sander and carving knife. Great fun. thomas

John, Sure seem's like a lot work, but that's what makes you the best. Also, I found a shop the sells Lexan plastic. They want $40.00 for a 3 ft. X 3 ft. piece. That sound about right? :-/ thomas

Hey Whittler, How do you use a photo to paint or cover the lure? Also, that letter I sent you a month ago, found it under my wife's floor mat while cleaning her car the other day. She said she forgot to send it. Well, I did send it out yesterday. I feel like a jerk. Sorry John. thomas

Is there anyone, who might know how one could buy direct from a soft plastic's company? Like Calhaun plastic's. I can't seem to find a address for them. Maybe someone out there my have it. Would surely be thankful. thomas

ALUM. MOLDS
Hey Guys, I've machined a two piece Alum. mold. It's a 5 1/2" Senko worm. I'll post a picture of it in a couple of days. Want to make a few worms first, so I can take a picture of the worms and mold together. Would surely like some feed back. Thanks, thomas

WildBill, I just finished machining a 2 pc. mold out of Alum., and will be posting a picture within a couple of days. It's a 5 1/2" Senko worm. I'm going to ask for some feedback on what the anglers out there think about it. :-/ thomas
