Thanks for the replies everyone. I am going to look into the Goldcast and Abumatic. I'm really interested in the Goldcast thought, but what is the clicking noise that it makes that everyone is talking bout?

Yes, I actually got it yesterday, and didn't like it, mainly for the fact that it was too heavy. So I'm going to return it to Bass Pro, and look into something else. Maybe the Daiwa Goldcast.

I could never get the hang of how to use them. The line always gets all tangled up. Do you know how I could eliminate that? I would like to start using them.

I've tried a lot of reels, nearly everything by Zebco, and have come to conclude that I hate their products. Don't like Shakespeare much either. I'm looking for a reel that is quiet (won't grind upon retrieve), retrieves smoothly, and can cast long distances. Maybe Diawa, are they any good? What do you recommend?
