  1. Thanks for responding. Ive done that before but i was just wondering if anyone had a specific lure or technique that works during the spring time here. Or if anyone had a specific hotspot on the lake for the spring time.
  2. but to answer your question, yes i have luck there in the summer to early fall. lots of blue gill, bass, and cats. i know this is a bass fishing site but i love the cats there. they stock them annually and i just love to catch them. the biggest one i got last year was around 6 to 8 pounds. so if youre out there in the summer please dont keep a lot of them, because i love to catch em.
  3. fished there my whole life. i mainly fish in the summer to early fall. gonna try and get out this spring.
  4. I fished there my whole life and dont really fish much there in the spring. i went out at 12 and fished till about 230. i used a spinner bait, and a shad colored split belly fluke with a slip sinker. i didnt catch anything. i fished from the bank and fished to the right of the dock and in the far back corner of the dam by the houses and about 200 ft headed back towards the parking area. (kinda confusing, i know.) you guys got any suggestions on what, how, and when the best time to fish there in the spring is? like i said, i dont usually fish in the spring because you have to fish too slow for my liking, but in order to be a well rounded fisherman i figured that i needed to start learning. I gonna go out tomorrow, the 24th at about the same time. If one of yall could help me out with some advice i'd really appreciate it.
