    Well I guess If it was going to kill me I would be dead already. I been biting on lead to open and close it for years. I think my dad thought me this trick when I was 5 years old. and that has been a long time now.

    Very good reel to learn on. I used one last summer and never had any trouble with it but i have moved on to better reels now that i know how to cast one with out any trouble at all. I am sure you will like it just take your time with learning and get out in the yard and cast as much as you can.
