Anyone Fish Lox Or Sawgrass This Weekend?
Went to Lox north end this morning. Got to the ramp at 6:00 am. Got tore up by mosquitos. Fished about 1/4 mile north of the ramp with no luck. Went south to the pump station and drifted with the wind back north. Hooked up about 6 bass in the 2-4 lb range and 1 large crappy. Fished top water poppers and pumkin seed flukes. Wind was kickin! Great mornng otherwise.

Has any one heard of the FWC planning to reintroduce Peacock Bass into the canal systems north of Miami?

Peacocks Are Spawning Again
Fished Weaver Canal at the crossroads in Boynton on Saturday between 6:00am - 10:30am . Very windy. Caught 4 peacock bass 2-4 lbs ripping a silver tiny torpedo along the shoreline. Caught 6 largemouth also. Missed quite a few more. Nice to see the Peacocks are making a comeback in Palm Beach County.

Lake Ida
Fished Lake Ida Saturday and caught 6 small bass and 1 peacock with a knot on his head. Went to Palm Beach canal off Belvidere Blvd. this morning and caught 1 tiny bass. I guess the Loxx is the place to be.

Markham Park
Has anyone fished Markham Park east west canal lately? I am trying to find some peacock bass without driving to Miami. Also are the ramps useable?

South Florida Reports
Fishing Loxahatchee a couple times in my 10 ft Pelican international plastic pontoon boat. The gators looked at us like we were the desert tray. These plastic pontoon boats are very stable, alot of fun and CHEAP to run. Very low maintnance and go anywhere.

South Florida Reports
l' timestamp='1305841103' post='990836'] Have not been there but I have been busting up the Big Cypress pretty good. Got great numbers but no size. Water so low that the gators are hitting rapalas. I'am used to getting snagged on them but have never really had them strike while working deep....untill this year. Got 11-12 on 20 cast yesterday. I was trying out the C.S. Special that JD's Custom Baits just put out. Anybody need a fishing partner nexy week , just holler.

Low Water
Under the Southern Blvd overpass near the Hilton. The canal is very narrow in that area. I did manage to catch alot of bass near the Trump Golf Coures. That place used to be very productive for peacock bass until the frost a couple years ago. Have not caught one since.

Low Water
Got this nice one in the Palm Beach canal a couple weeks ago. Be careful running to close to shore. Also the boat ramps seem to be shorter these days.

Peacock Bass
I used to fish the canals in Palm Beach County for peacock bass until the "Big Chill". Any one know what the farthest north they are still can be found other than driving 1 hour south to the Miami airport.
