What are some lures you guys use during the hot days of summer? I have started fishing mornings, usually 7am-1pm

Better yet, to simplify the question, which way should the transducer be pointing?

I bought a new fish finder for the front of my boat and a skimmer transducer was included. Lowrance mentions that it can be mounted to the front trolling motor, which I want to do. This may be a dumb question, but since the prop of the trolling motor is facing towards the rear of the boat when it is in the water, which way should the skimmer transducer be mounted? Should the flat end be pointing forward or should it be pointing towards the back of the boat?

I need some opinions on a good flipping stick.

With the winds we have been having here, i believe it would be an alright idea for me to use the 3/8 oz

I have been reading up on finesse fishing lately and decided to pick up 3/8 ounce jigheads and a pack of gander mountain finesse worms. My question is how should they be fished?

Just to clarify, by easy i meant not having to go buy a ton of new baits to use for night and not having to find new places to catch fish. lol I know the tournament fishing at night isnt going to be easy.

I picked up the new berkley havoc pit boss and craw fatty baits today for a tournament this saturday. Could anyone tell me the best way to fish both of these baits? I plan on texas rigging them, but need to know how to fish them. I have watched a few videos and for the pit boss they are throwing them out and reeling them back in at a medium pace, i have yet to find a good video of the craw fatty though.
