  1. Oh okay. I found this website that someone said ti was Atkinson residents only. http://www.paddling.net/launches/showLaunch.html?lid=14752
  2. Ohhh, okay I know where it is. Is it for Atkinson town residents only or can the public launch there? I have a kayak that I would love to launch there.
  3. Really? Where is it at if you don't mind me asking?
  4. I fish BIP all the time. Go with my sons father inlaw who has a key for the gate. Other than that it's all private and very hard to fish unless you know someone who lives on it. I usually do pretty good there for smallies, although nothing very big. Biggest largemouth I got last year was around 3lbs. Haven't been there this year yet but hoping to hit it up this weekend.
  5. Hi Mike, you might want to check and print this digest out for information on where to fish. There are only a few places in the Whites that have FF only so you should be good. For rivers and streams: http://www.eregulations.com/newhampshire/fishing/freshwater/rivers-streams-with-special-rules/ For lakes and ponds: http://www.eregulations.com/newhampshire/fishing/freshwater/lakes-ponds-with-special-rules/
  6. That would be great Nev. My email is PLombard@comcast.net. Thank you very much.
  7. WOW! those are beauties jitterbug. Great job. Would like to ask what kind of kayak you use (sit in/sit on top, etc). I am going to buy a yak for fishing but not sure which one would be best.
  8. Yeah but they are one of the best tasting freshwater fish around.
  9. Went out to a local pond yesterday and FINALLY! had a productive day bass fishing. Caught 15 of them with most being under 1 1/2. Got a few over 2lbs. Caught most of them on a small hula popper and one big guy on a gulp minnow (these things work wonders). All of them Largemouths. Also caught a pretty big sunfish. Here are some photos.
  10. Gorham? that's not even close to Franconia Notch. If you're going to Gorham you will be on the other side of the WMNF off of 16. I suggest the Androscoggin River for best results. Try Reflections pond off of route 2 going east from Gorham. If you are going to try the Franconia area which is about 30 miles away, you can try Echo and Profile lakes.
  11. Looks awesome. I was actually looking at the Lifetime Daylite Kayak from walmart for around $200. Had a lot of great reviews and seems pretty sturdy and lightweight. I'm just looking for something I can get out on the lakes and ponds with. Something that will not tip easily seeing i'm not a strong swimmer.
  12. WOW! nice hogs Nev. What kind of yak do you use. I am looking into buying one come July but not sure if I want a sit on top or sit in one. What do you recommend for fishing?
  13. I hit the right side over near the memorial site and further up near the bridge
  14. Where are all the big fish you guys are catching. I hit Tower Hill Pond and only caught two tiny bass. Also hit Scobie Pond, Massabesic and Island Pond with no luck on anything over a pound. Although I am shore fishing because I don't have a boat just yet. Don't laugh at the huge bass in these photos...lol
  15. It's not illegal to fish in. I think you can even take a canoe or kayak out as long as you don't touch the water.
  16. Hi guys, was wondering if anyone has ever tried Harantis Lake in Chester? And if so, what access did you use? I've heard it has a great LMB population with some good size bass being caught but have no idea where to access it. Seeing it is right in my neighborhood I would love to try it. Also, has anyone tried Dubes Pond in Hooksett? I also heard good things about this place as well.
  17. Went out today with no luck at all. Hit Massabesic Lake in Auburn but only managed a small Pickerel and sunfish. Threw everything i had at them. Kind of disappointing but a bad day fishing is better than a good day doing anything else.
  18. I love Tower Hill. Beautiful place to relax without tons of people. Have you ever caught any hold-overs there? I've heard there are some huge hold-over browns in there but I never hooked into one. I've caught lots of stockies in the 1 1/2 - 2lb range though. Also caught a few LMB but nothing very big.
  19. Anyone know of any good spots to fish without a boat and/or shore fishing in southern NH? I've been to all the local places near me (Derry) but haven't ventured out more than 10 miles plus. I understand secret spots so if you rather keep it that way it's all good. Any information would be very well appreciated.
  20. Beaver Lake in Derry is ice free as well as Scobie Pond, Lake Massabesic and Island Pond. Haven't seen them but I'm assuming Canobie and Pawtuckaway Lakes are ice free. Most lakes I've been at or drove by in southern NH are ice free.
