Have never known anyone from this area running into any problems, probably because we all know that as long as we stay on the U.S. side, there is no problem. lake is down some because of the drought, but there are plenty of fish to be had. In my humble opinion, less water = more fish per square foot! Seriously folks, only time we ever hear of any trouble is on the news - we are the last to know and we are right here lakeside! The women here hold reuglar fishing tournaments just to show the guys if they can fish safely, anyone can. Feel free to contact me if you need local resources, including weblinks.   2. I live 50-300 yds from Falcon Lake, depending on the lake level at the time. This is my full time home and we fish nearly every day. Love this place!
