  1. Went out on the lake yesterday, Sunday. Caught a bunch of small fish, all 1lbs or less. Both on topwater chugger and green black fleck crawfish texas rigged. Warning for anyone going there. The ranger was out checking everything. he was pretty hard core. Checked fishing license, boat registration, life vests (1 throw-able) , fire extinguisher, live well and commented that i should have had my Navigation lights on when i was coming in. It was dusk. For me everything was in check so no worries.
  2. Went there yesterday for the first time. Nice lake. I took my wife and 2 kids so it was more of an adventure then anything, we had diner on the boat . But in the 1.5 hours we were there i caught 4 bass all a pound or better. Nice clean looking bass. 2 on purple worms texas rig, 2 on buzz bait. I plan on make a serious trip there soon. There was not much tree cover that i could see, noticed the lake to be about 10-15 ft deep. Only shot straight across to the other side from the boat ramp. That ramp is slippery! I will be back.
  3. It was not winterized at all and it won't start. Its a 18f tracker jet drive. I think it has a 220 in it? The starter turns over but not sure if its getting fuel.

  7. Hi guys, new to the site but not new to fishing! We have a bass tracker jet drive we like to take out on the upper potomac. I was on route 17/50 a couple weeks ago and saw a public boat ramp sign off the Shenandoah. Has anyone used it? Can we launch a boat with a trailer there? concert or mud? We can not carry this boat. Shenandoah River boat ramp rt 17/50 is it a good spot? thanks Bob
