  1. Has anyone ever fished the moose river that runs through old forge (new york) and into fulton chain of lakes. if you got any info or fishing stories, please share...
  2. I'm only gonna be up there for 4 days - not gonna make it to Biggar Lake. We're going from North Tea into Manitou. I'm hoping i can find some fish in both lakes. I do have a portable depth finder i'm taking with me, so that should help me find some drop offs, and hopefully make it alittle easier.
  3. Well, I'm heading to Algonquin next week, and because access is all by canoe and backpack, i'm only bringing limited tackle. Here's what i've narrowed my lures down to: floating jerk baits various crank baits (KVD 1.5, & a few Rapalas with different diving depths) lipless crank baits Single tail grubs tubes topwater (plugs, spook, jitterbug, baby torpedo) just wondering if anyone has opions or suggestions. (especially if you fish in this neck of the woods) thanks
  4. thanks. so it sounds like tubes would be a good bait. I was planning on just dragging and bouncing them on the bottom.
  5. I'm heading to Algonquin Provential Park (Ontario Canada) in late July, and have never fished there before, but i know there are some good smallies up there. I was wondering if anyone had any experiance up there. Any tips or comments would be appreciated. I'll be on North Tea Lake and Manitou Lake. But any advice on smallie summertime pattern in this neck of the woods would be greatly appreciated.
