  1. Welcome!! I'm a newbee also but one thing I have learned is that bass fishing is totally addicting! Be careful
  2. Welcome, It's good to see more Mass. newbies on here. When I went this morning it was raining, so I left the canoe at home. Big mistake. The water has dropped so much fishing from shore just didn't work.
  3. I went and got a Raddison canoe. If he doesn't feel like going I still have a blast.
  4. Hi, I'm in a similar situation with my son. But he seems to be losing interest and I'm totally hooked. I go either with him or alone about 3 or 4 times a week. Have fun!!! And welcome.
  5. This is a totally addicting sport! Went again last night for a couple of hours and watched my eleven year old son catch a decent sized small mouthed bass. (I lost the bet.)
  6. Thanks, Went fishing yesterday morning, for a couple of hours, third time in my little canoe. Caught a decent small mouth with a coffee tube. Then switched to a plastic worm with no weight and got a pickerel from hell. Surprised the heck out of me.
  7. I went through the same thing about a month ago. Felt like a little kid. Great. Now you're hooked.
  8. Hello everyone. I just started bass fishing this spring. I hadn't fished fresh water in about thirty years or so. I had only fished for trout as a kid and then only using a hook and worm. Now I use mostly tubes and a KVD crankbait and fish mornings, before work, in my little Raddison canoe. Anyway I've learned a lot on this forum and just want to thank everyone.
