  1. oh yeah i forgot to tell you that I am fishing out of a boat with a trolling motor and the entire pond bottom is covered with rocks and logs and some sand. i have targeted the smallies before with dropshots on deep drop offs and rock piles as well as with tubes but so far i have only caught largemouth.
  2. I live in the northeastern part of massachusetts and I fish primarily for largemouth bass because that is the main species of bass in the local ponds in my area. However there are a few kettle ponds that I fish that have smallmouth bass in them but unfortunately for me there are far more largemouth. How can I go about targeting just the smallmouth bass. My pond is gin clear, visibility is near 19ft and the ponds average depth is 25 ft there is an abundance of crawfish, three species of trout, an abundance of largemouth sunfish and some perch. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you
