Careful there, I was in exactly the same position a few years ago, and now I can't stop: new methods, new materials, new tools, etc., etc.,etc.

No enamel pait that I have ever tried has held up on a jig head (sometimes just a few casts and it's mostly gone). You may have better luck on a spinner bait, however.
