There is not that many ramps in urban Broward. You have to go west for more ramps. Since your around the Margate area I would suggest you try out the end of Lox rd. That is probably the closest productive area to you with out going to either markham park or anywhere off 27.

Most if not all anglers are long gone and off the water by the time the release boats go out. BASS said today each of there release boats can hold up to 600 lbs of fish before it goes out and releases the fish.

I have A-mart, Walker, Howell, JVD and Dove on my fantasy but I think Howell is my favored to win!

Most of the field has chance to win in my eyes. It's hard to truly narrow it down. They are ALL great at what they do!!!

I think the Florida guys were stuck on strictly flipping maybe bedding and that hurt them. The top finalists seemed to be more versatile in techniques. Swimming jigs, chatter baits, Buzz baits & other top water. Heck the winner was throwing a buzz bait in the middle of the afternoon, minutes b4 weigh in and wacked a 7lber! Most likely Tharp, Mcmillan, Medlock, Martin(s) etc. were flipping majority of the time.

I've never had much success in the flats and I've explored out there pretty good. I have pretty high hopes to. lol

How'd you do? I only managed some dinks in the morning with a zara spook. Holy WIND!!! I was getting blown around all day today, lol. I found some pristine clear water but no dice, didn't even see one bed either.

In theory you would think Toho would fish better since ALL fished released after tourneys go into Toho NOT back to Kissimmee. Although Swindle did win the bassmasters southern open 2 years ago fishing Toho when most of the contenders locked through to kissimmee.

I'm planning on going up to the lake in the morning. Most likely go out of the South bay ramp!
