  1. Not the first time an airboat capt. was charged with that.
  2. Darn, wish I was there. I like the fact it's in Orlando, not Vegas.
  3. Funny, I just put some misc. tools in a plano box today, to put in my boat.
  4. pretty cool pics. that loos like a nice size dear also.
  5. Lake Norman is a spotted bass lake, it's loaded with them. Although it has large mouth, they dont populate the south end (clearer water) as much. I would target the spots. They put up a great fight to. One of the key things on norman is light line and light wire hooks. I would throw a drop-shot, shakey head or a split-shot. Throw up under the docks. There is a million of them on norman. The bass will tell you where there at, so if you catch one in the back of a dock in the shade, chances are they will be at the next dock like that. I remember the pilings being key also there, drag a spit shot around them. Check over by the Davidson area. The rocks along the highway are productive at times to. You really can't beat watermelon seed on that lake to. Zoom makes a finesse dead ringer, centipede 4in., or a small speed worm. Also always keep contact with the bottom. Drag not hop. One last thing in some areas you will see they had to cut the rock out to make a channel from a dock to the lake. Fish those areas as well. Good luck, hope this helps.
  6. Yup, I would say NO oxygen.. The smaller the pond the more common it is.
  7. Your trailer and trolling motor are probably not saltwater worthy. Trailers are the worst, even with a cleaning because it will rust/corrode quick. As for trolling motors, the black ones are designed for freshwater and the white ones are designed for saltwater.
  8. 33 lb sacks being caught in July, 50-75 fish!!!! .Nice job on sacking 20lbs!!!! My buddy fished the bass busters tourney today and he said the winner had 8.80 w/ big bass 2.80. I went yesterday and didn't catch crap. How do you judge depth like that? was it that calm? My boat would easily bounce around that much out there lol.
  9. My budy only uses that color lol but he is on a tight budget. I joke with him all the time about it. Confidence goes a long way
  10. http://www.resize.it/
  11. I went to lake Okeechobee yesterday and only caught 1 dink. I easily fished 6-8 areas to, inshore, off shore, rim canal, clear water stained water etc. I threw 10 different baits as well trying to get something to bite..
  12. A 7 .lber in a urban canal is like a 10-12 .lber on lake O'. Nice Job!!!
  13. Dude!!!! That has to be the biggest blue gill I've ever seen. What do those things feed on, Largemouth Bass!!!
  14. Those would probably work great in certain situations. I like the fact that it is floating, coils and has a paddle looking tail. Like some mention already, downsouth here we use a lot of snake style baits. Some 16-18 inches long. BPS makes a 10 and 12in. worm in a anaconda color. I use them quite a bit. You can make them swim and twitch so realistic it's amazing. Check them out to.
  15. Cool story. So where are the pictures????? Post them up!!!
  16. Can the cylinder be bored out and a new piston and rings put in? I'm sure you can find the parts online. Also check craigslist in your area for a used engine, you never know what you will find there.
  17. That one picture isn't helping. Take a few more pics, maybe I can help.
  18. YES that is it. Your engine is in gear. if it was in neutral the sound should go away. It's normal, notice in your video as soon as the engine starts, the prop is engaged. If it was in neutral and you spin the prop there will be no noise.
  19. Glad everyone is o.k. everything else can be replaced or fixed.
  20. Capt. Shane is right, NO peacocks north of palm beach county. The winters are just to cold for them to survive any farther.
