I am looking for some advice to see how practical it is to run both Humminbird 360 with my existing Livescope. I have an ultrex trolling motor currently with a DI Helix 12 and an Echomap Garmin with Livescope on the bow. What I would like to do is move the Helix 12 back to the console so I have one unit for Side Imaging and one unit for mapping/sonar. I could purchase a new helix mega to support the 360 on the console, just not sure how the livescope transducer would work with the 360 unit on the trolling motor shaft? Would there be any interference issues potentially? To alleviate any issues with so much "stuff" being on the trolling motor shaft I have seen some RAM mount fabricated rigs that you can put the Livescope transducer on that would allow you to move it independently of the trolling motor. Appreciate any feedback or experience anyone has had with this.

Hey guys, I just purchased a GL 2 Swimbait rod and was looking for some suggestions as to what reel and line to pair up with this rod. The particular rod is rated for 3-8oz. lure weight. I am assuming braid would be the best choice in the 50lb range. What do you guys think?

I also gave up golf for the most part so I had to find another avenue to spend some money! I have been going through this site for a couple of weeks and the information here is priceless. Thought I would add the selection of rod and reels that I currently own. I purchased these without doing much research but what ideas do you guys have for what purposes I should be using these rods for. St. Croix Premier 6'6" spinning rod Med power fast action with a Johnny Morris JM40H spinning reel BPS Extreme 7' casting rod Med Hvy power fast action with a Shimano Curado 200E7 BPS Extreme 6'6" casting rod Med power fast action with a BPS Extreme ETX10HE reel Also, what types of line do you use for different setups. I currently have some Berkley Trilene Mono in different tests, and some braid that my brother gave me. Not sure what brand.

I am trying to decide what rod and reels to purchase with a $700.00 budget. I need to get a finesse/drop shot set up and a cranking setup. I would like to invest more in the rods than the reels and have some money left over for adding some additional tackle since I have just got back into fishing. I have been looking through the other threads but I am looking for some advice based on my budget. There just isn't enough choices out there!
