  3. RAT that bass was around 4lbs she was very thin tho i have playing with the DEEP fish at varner lately my weak side
  4. The deeper fish out there right now are pretty thin because most of the shad are up on the flats if you look back at fish like the 2 randall had early in the week they were fat and healthy but they were caught on the grass flats. the fish i had when randall took that pic i had just caught in 20 feet of water and varner is not a deep lake only around 35 feet at the deepest point
  5. I love those those varner hogs more than those big bucks. GET OUT OF THE WOODS BROTHER FLUKE!!!!!!!!
  6. It's the dog in me brother
  7. Be careful talking about fairy dust LBH Fluke wears it when he fishes with spinning gear ;D
  8. I hooked a 14in pickerel the other day at varner and he got wraped up in a tree top as I eased over to get him off a large mouth around 8 or 10lbs came up and crushed him butt he didn't hold on to him i guess because i was only about 10feet away

  11. My two girls wanted to goto the lake yesterday even with the temps in the low 50's with the wind so i took them to varner for the first time we didn't get to the lake untill about 4:30 so we only had about alittle over a hour to fish but it was well worth the trip they both caught there best bass ever the fish on the left being held by Bailee age 6 is a 5.6 and the fish on the right being held by Alex(AKA MOUTH) age 8 is a 4.9 i think i started something here they are trying to drag me back out today ;D here is a link to a few more pics of the day they almost froze after the sun went down http://s114.photobucket.com/albums/n277/Doghouse13/?action=view&current=1162687185.pbw
  12. don't you just love those tan lines Lol ;D
  13. I think the fish roam more in low light to feed . Then as the sun gets high they tend to hold more on deeper cover like brush and stumps thats when it's time for the DD's to pull them up ;D. But i have had alot better luck with the morning fish like RW I'm looking for a big meal and a stiff drink by Dawn

  16. Alot of you know i hurt my shoulder real bad and well no bass fishing. But i found that i do ok at trolling around for Hybrids and i'm doing ok catching 2 or 3 per trip. The fish are in 10 to 20 feet of water but suspending at 10 to 12 water temp is mid 80's and no live bait around so shiners are out. Any help would be great. I have never done any freash water trolling but the fish i have been catching have come on rattle trap baits
