The winning boater wasn't doing much until 11am when he scaled down in size because of the cold front that rolled in Friday. He switched from Crawdaddys to BB Crickets and was flipping them to where the grass was pushed up to dead grass. The big girls were underneath it all because that dead stuff holds heat. He won the check with the BB Cricket, while the winning coangler used Big EZs and EZ Swimmers equally.

Well now you know 2! I just moved to Polk County from central Ohio and love the bass fishing. My largest so far since moving here is a 7 pounder (3lbs larger than my largest of the year in Ohio) caught on a buzzbait at 11:00pm!!
