i am in the planning stages of developing a lure that no bass and probably no human has seen before and need to know if i might be onto something or am i way out there....here goes... i will be taking a 6" berkley curly tail power worm rigging it texas style on a #2 mustad weedless. in front of it i will attach a cut-out buzz blade with a quad wing blade (plastic for a deeper sound) in the center of it. i will then thread a 12-15" length of 15-20# line thru the head of the worm and tie it to the eye of the hook. at the other of the line i will attach a 3-5" floating rapala (the weight of the worm and buzz blade should keep it just below the surface...i hope) or a shallow shad rap sprayed down with mega bite attractant. i will be remoing the treble hooks and attaching another #2 weedless (fishing a very weedy lake) off the back of the lure, none off the belly. all of this will be done in black (for night fishing). now, why do you ask? my "theory" is i will be offering these fish the sound and sight of the buzz blade accompanied by "real" food (worm) and the shad rap that says this thing might be worth investigating(doubling as a trailer)...so...does it sound logical or should i call the guys in the white suits and see if they have room for 1 more at the farm? :^)
