I had the opportunity to watch Bill Lowen fish his Square Bill on Old Hickory this past weekend. It was amazing to see the bait move through very heavy cover. He worked it like a spinnerbait. I figured he could do that because of his experience with the bait - from designing it and throwing it on the Elites, so I tied one on and tried it for myself. My angling skills are below average but I found even I could make the lure "hunt" and deflect off limbs, stumps, etc. The bait was so buoyant that it crawled through and over everything.
