  1. Pitching jigs, punching, texas rigged plastics. Its a heavy powered rod since Abus tend to be on the stiffer side. Put some heavy braid like 50# and use it to rip fish out of cover. Oh yeah, dont forget to mount a Shimano on it lol
  2. Lol. True. But only going to get my free lure and lizards I cant get at Walmart. Oh yeah, another pair of pliers. So maybe $30-40, instead of over $100.
  3. Bobber fishing for panfish? Hahahahahaha, talk about an unfair fight! Lol
  4. I would think it would come in a reel box, inside of a box with bubblewrap.
  5. Just filled my jigs, trailers, and buzzbaits back up. $60 BPS won't get from me because they didn't have any good deals.
  6. BTD has all reels on sale, check it out.
  7. 2 in about 10 minutes with the ole Chug Bug in the rain.
  8. You can use it. Its good for punching heavy mats.
  9. Nice setup, I still have a Spirex500 from the early 90s that I use. Won't give it up until it breaks, but its a Shimano, so might never happen.
  10. I used Hot sauce for years myself. Decided to try the Ardent kit, and I like it. The Hot Sauce does give better performance, but the Reel Butter products seem to hold up and last longer.
  11. Shane, you have to go to 18st and go N on Boca Rio Rd, then turn off the right just as you get off the down slope of the road. Im not 100% sure the Stratos will dip, I know the Gheenoe would have. You have a 4X4 Jeep, so you may be OK.
  12. Hey Mike, how much would it cost to do a reel? Might be interested in you doing one for me.
  13. The only thing I do is flush and relube the spool bearings. I don't break down the reel completely unless I notice excessive grease, but I havent had that case with any of my Shimanos yet. Otherwise, it will get regreased after a year.
  14. Gee, I better not comment because people on here cant deal with peoples opinions without getting into personal attacks and being immature.
  15. I wonder if my OG Chug Bugs are worth any money? They are slightly used though. And by slightly used I mean beat to death by bass, lol.
  16. May have just had a piece of the bait in its mouth, like a dog pulling on a rope.
  17. My wife will go, she has her own rig. She just doesnt have the patience if its a slow day. I can stay out all day in 90 degree heat, she refuses. It has to be the right conditions for her. We have fun when we go together.
  18. I think that last fish was juicing. Have him tested.
  19. You never know unless you get your lure wet, they dont catch fish in the closet. Jig it, flip it, pitch it, just fish it!
  20. Its for premium rewards members if you have their conservation (credit) card.
  21. Going the 22 to get my free little Bomber collectors lure. After that, drop about $150 on baits and stuff. My wife says NO MORE SHIMANO REEELS!
  22. I would use it for reaction baits. For a starter rod, it looks great. Havent tried it yet, but Im sure it stacks up there with the Sellus, Lightning Shock, and other budget rods.
  23. My BPS does it one year, maybe yours doesnt.
