What spinning reel should I buy? A Quantum EXO-PT or a pflueger patriarch? Has anyone had any experience with either reel. Thanks

I no its a little more then $100 but for $133 you can get the Shimano curado 50e or 200e. I just purchesed the the 50e and itsa sick reel. Its on ohya.com $133 shipped!

i just picked up the Shimano Clarus. i havent used it yet but it seems to be good quality. im looking foward to using it.

I've used a leader with braid befor. Do you tie it with a double uni knot. If so can you reel the knot into the eyes on the pole?

Do you need a leader for braided line? If not is there a time where you should use a leader like fishing topwater or cranking?

Where should I fill the spool up to? I no I'm asking a lot of questions I just want to learn from everybody's mistakes lol.

What line is the easiest to cast on a baitcaster?

d**n I bought seagur red lable 12 lb fluorocarbon. I love braid but I always feel like the fish see the line and there not biting. I had braid on my spinning reel and switched to fluorocarbon.

I fish in New York so the water color is A little of everything depending where you fish clear to stained to murky. Thanks guy and gals.

I'm new at baitcasting and I'm not sure what line to use. I have the shimano corudo 50e and a shimano Clarus bass casting rod 6'8" fast action M power. I'm not sure what line to use. I fish cranks, spinners, plastics, top water, jigs and swim baits. I no everything. What line should I use??
