  1. I checked the pin first and its ok. After the TM has water resistance, and pulled back up it will spin for a few seconds and then stop. You can hear a buzz in the lower unit. However, after a few min. it will spin at full speed, while out of the water. Back in the water, it loses power.
  2. I have a year old Minn Kota 101 Maxxum. The prop will spin at all speeds when it is out of the water. When it gets water resistance it will not spin and loses power. Could this be a battery problem??? My batteries are dated 12/05.
  3. After further inspection here's what I get: 1)I select MENU and go to OVERLAY DATA and hit SONAR DATA and then WATER TEMP. Here, I get the blinking 32 F on the screen. 2) When I go to NEMA 2000 and check TEMPERATURE, I get an actual reading on both graphs. ????????
  4. I have a question concerning the temp. setting on my Lowrance graphs. There are two settings for temperature: one says water temp. and the other simply says temp. When I put the water temp. on the page, it blinks 32 degrees F, all the time. When I choose temp, it puts a temp. on the screen that is the actual water temperature. For example, it read 49-52 yesterday on Texoma which is what other boats had. This also could not be the air temp. because it was 21 degress yesterday morning and 48 in the afternoon. My problem and question is that I don't(knowingly) have a temp. sensor on the boat that runs to the transom and my trolling motor transducer is the 101 minnkota with the universal sonar that doesn't have a temp. sensor. So where am I getting this reading?? It is the same on the bow 332 and the console X-25 which are linked.
  5. I'm looking for another 20-21 ft. bass boat. What would I get better value from, a new boat or buying a used '03 or '04 boat??? Also, what kind of engine would you recommend. I currently own a 200 Merc. and have had very few problems. What about the Yammy or Evinrude??
  6. Congrats..... Don't be like me. I bought my first Loomis 3 years ago and now a few thousand dollars later, that's all that I will use >
