Is it just me or is it much harder to catch bass in the summer? I fish early morning normally and here lately, I have been getting skunked or just catching a few jakes. Just how deep do bass (smallmouth & Largemouth) go in the summer? Also, do fish bite better at night in the summer?

I fish greers occasionally, but im not an expert by any means. But I usually do my best fishing deep, rocky points with green pumpkin tubes, and football heads. Try to find a point with a sharp drop that has acess to shallow water and fish it hard.

Im thinking about using #12 on a baitcaster and #8 on a spincast. Ive heard some good things about it but im new to copolymer and fluoro lines. Is this line a good line for casting and sensitivity?

After reading numerous articles and threads, I still cant decide on whether to put braid or fluoro on my flipping rod. A lot of articles beat around the bush with IFs and BUTs. I know everybody has their own opinion, but surely there is evidence out there as to which line is better? I was thinking about using braid, and using for flippin, and frog fishing. Is this practical?

I was wondering what length and what action on rods is best for crankbaits, spinnerbaits, texas-rigs, carolina rigs, and topwaters. Also, what is you favorite fluorocarbon, Mono, and braided line?

Im new to the forum, and fairly new to bass fishing. im from arkansas,and I fish Greers Ferry quite a bit. Its a very deep and clear lake. I was wondering if any of you guys could give some tips about locating fish and what presentation I should go for. Thanks in advance, BK
