My Girl Got Her Pb And I Got A 8 Lb Fatty!
It was a good day. My wife got a 3 lb PB then broke it five minutes later with one a hair over 3 lbs. Then I had a pretty 8+ lb'er full of babies, my first decent bass of the season. It was a good day with my girl. A couple nice fish sure didnt hurt either

How Many Of You Use Wake Baits And What's Your Favorite?
Rapela DT 01. Caught several very nice bass on them last year in a chrystal clear pond I fish. Buzzbaits and walk the dogs wouldnt produce but wakebaits sure did.

Anyone Use Spinning Gear For Lipless Or Squarebills?
Im pretty much a 100% baitcaster guy, I use spinnign gear for shakey heads and thats about it. Anyway, I tied a lipless on a spinning setup I had with me the other day, and it felt great. I dont know what was "right" about it, it may be all wrong, but it just felt and fished good. I also tried some smaller shallow running squarebills, same thing, it just felt good. Anyone else use a spinning setup for these baits?

This Season Is Gonna Be Good!
I am on the Eastern Shore of Va, its all private ponds and SMALL lakes here, other than the Pocomoke River, which is actually in MD, but still near by. I have caught bass on lipless cranks, spinnerbaits, shakey heads, and t rigged worms so far this season. By far, the number one producer is t rigged plastics and shakey heads, Power Worms and Zoom U tails are usually my choices, colors according to the water clarity. For me, red shad, tequila sunrise, blue fleck, black, and some sort of watermelon or pumkin variation covers it all. Fish em slow!

This Season Is Gonna Be Good!
Already up and running here in Va, with many many 2-4 lb bass since the first of the year, and I also got decent one already this past Saturday, a pretty 6lb fish. Its starting out good fishing, and am only looking for it to get better. As good as fishing has been already, I've got my hopes up to break my 9lb PB and get into the double digits Here are some pics from this season, first two are typical winter bass for me, the third is my 6lb from Saturday.
