  2. Folks, I am relocating from Dallas, TX to Charlotte, NC the middle of December. Can anyone recommend a bass club in Charlotte (and a good place to store by boat)? Thanks - Bill
  3. Thanks Allen. I appreciate the insight.
  4. Thanks. Much use in dragging a jig over there for fishing the docks?
  5. Anyone been fishing Deep Creek lately?
  6. No smallies but LM are killing tubes and jerkbaits
  7. Headed out of Columbus, OH at 5:00am and will be spending the weekend. Will I need a snow shovel to keep the boat clear?
  8. Last year we fished the W's with no luck, came back into the marina and caught some largemouth and smallmouth. When we came back to PIB, we ended up fishing a mudline. If you hooked a fish in the muddy water it was a largemouth. If it was in the clean water it was a smallie. We had a decent day catching plenty of fish but nothing to write home about. One four pound smallie was our largest fish off the sea wall just before you went into the main lake. We decided to come up earlier looking for larger fish in light of the warmer weather.
  9. Good luck on Sunday. I have a trip scheduled for PI on the 31st. This will be our fourth visit so far. My buddy and I really do enjoy fishing up that way when we can.

Anyone on smallies around Presque Isle or Sandusky Bay?
  11. Thanks for the welcome A-Jay My buddy and I normally head up mid-April as well but with the warmer temp's we figured the end of March would be good. This is our third year of heading up and exploring. We normally don't fish the main lake much simply due to a lack of time. Last year we amused ourselves with chunky LM's on a mudline towards the mouth of the Bay. We have brought in some smallies but our timing always seems off to really get into them.
  12. Headed to Presque Isle the end of the month. Can't wait.
