  1. Triton TR176 Humminbird 999HDSI Shimano Metainium Shimano Curado I x2 Dobyns DX764sf,DX763sf,734C,735C,684cb, SS733 Bunch of new baits MB Vision 110,LC 97MR,112MR, Sammy 100/115, RI Vixen, R2S Spittin' Wa, ect. ect....
  2. 733C/734C for me, type of cover determines which one I use.
  3. 4 years ago during the off season I sold off 10 Shimano crucials and replaced them with 5 Dobyns Rods and since that point have been adding 2 or so rods a season. If you save up for them it really doesn't hurt your pocket, I'm up to 16 now and could not be happier
  4. Dobyns 735C/ Chronarch Ci4/#65 Power Pro
  5. Sealed the deal on this beauty the other day, even better that I got her for a steal!!
  6. Fisherman day a lot of things, especially to promote a sponsor. Don't believe everything you hear
  7. His winning bait was a DT-6....
  8. My Shimano rep told me there will not be a Curado I in the 50 size they are staying with the 200.
  9. +1 on the Falcon FTO box everything is already labeled, hook sizes/different weights ect. Double latches on 3 sides of the tray to be sure nothing gets loose.Theres no doubt falcon was a much better built product.Plano bought them out, changed the boxes same layout but cheaper quality.
  10. I highly doubt I will try any of the crankbaits/topwaters they have in the series, but that jerkbait..... Being a big fan of JB's it was hard for me not to pick up a couple of them. I will be curious how well the bait suspends for cold water when you really need that bait to sit there and soak, when they really get to look at it. It will do quite well in the super clear water we have up here up north. Will it replace my Vision 110's or Pointers? I doubt it but who can ever have to many jerkbaits!!
  11. Exactly what I'm currently using for squarebills & jerkbaits! enjoy the new sticks!!
  12. Still have a few more to add before spring
  13. 684cb is a great topwater/jerkabait stick, i would also look into the 704cb if you dont mind the extra length. In terms of lipless cranks the 764RM is a favorite, squarebills cant go wrong with the 705cb glass!
  14. Getting a few of the rods together for spring
  15. When you purchase a NRX... Just to have a NRX
  16. Go with your gut, stick to the Dobyns. The 705cb glass is strickly a square bill rod for me, originally I tried fishing JB's on the rod but I found I was over working the bait which then lead me to the 704cb. The 704cb is THE jerkbait rod to have and I also enjoy using it for poppers.
  17. Replace the Champion 734C that I never should have sold in the first place and going to be pairing it with a Shimano Metanium XG
