  1. I got mine today some 5/0 hd worm hooks. We'll see how they do.
  2. I'm headed to gander today to replace my rod that I snapped last night ... and while i'm at it I'll be getting me a lip grip and a hook scale lol.. I've been wanting a scale for awhile. Thanks for the suggestions
  3. ... my little one uses the same technique and it gives her no problems
  4. I fish the ponds in Orlando area dailly. I use a watermelon purple red fleck power bait worm and its almost guarantee. I use more of a bounce across the bottom. The bottoms are so slimmy and vegetated that you can't drag it without it coming up covered. So I let it sink then jig it up and let it sink again.
  5. So my bday was this month and as usual I got gander, basspro gift cards and tackle lol. My dad got me a popper plug, he talks about them all the time.. "back when I fished tournaments.. rable rable rable" I've never used one before so I've been playing around with it... This thing is so much fun! I feel like I'm one of those ppl on the boats during shark week... freaking great white bass attacking the poor little popper lol. The past two days fishing down at my little mile round pond near the house I've caught the biggest bass out of there with this thing. ... now if only I can figure out how to get the hooks out of them without getting hooked myself.. owey.
  6. I just did both tests... we'll see
  7. I've been looking around for a forum that was active.. yall seem like a good group. I'm out of Oviedo Fl. I don't have a boat so unless I'm out on the gulf with friends, I'm on a lake shore enjoying my peace and quiet. This excluding the time I have to work and sleep unfortunately. I've been fishing all my life, joined tournaments with my dad and know practically nothing technical about the sport... except of coarse how to catch fish I'm hoping yall could teach me about the more technical side of things, and expand my knowledge on different techniques.
