Does anyone know of anyway to access aerojet canal or if they are planning to open it again?

Oh it was definitely a snakehead. Mudfish don't fight nearly as hard as this fish did and I have never had a mudfish jump out the water as many times as this snakehead did.

Today I decided to go out and fish my usual spot out in the everglades. Its been really bad lately so I decided to venture out and see if there was anything else around. I found this some canal across the street and I fished it for about an hour and all I got was a snakehead (don't worry I killed it.) I was wondering if anyone has ever fishing it and what kind of results have they had. Here is the link 25.760745, -80.673761 Let me know and also any recommendations of anything in the area. Thanks

FYI......I went to Aerojet canal today for the first time in a long time and realized its been closed off. Coming off of US1 both sides of the canal are gated off. Does anyone know whats going on with this?

Has anyone tried out the Hobie pro angler kayak? I was thinking of getting the new one that comes out in June "hobie mirage pro angler 12" but i don't know how comfortable it would be. I am 6'3 195lbs so I'm not sure how I would be with it. If anyone has any experience kayak fishing please help me out

How does it hold up on the water? I looking to buy something like that but I'm not sure how comfortable I'll be b/c I'm 6'3 200lbs. Is it sturdy you do you have to be careful when standing up and moving around?

Has anyone fished the C-111 canal lately? Whats the biggest bass anyone has caught out there and when? I am planning a trip there and am trying to see if it is worth walking the bank at C-111

So I'm starting to realize that I'm not the only one.........Has anyone tried the C-111 canal? Have you had any luck with it lately?

I have always fished the c-100, c-4, and c-2 canals but lately I decided to try out the everglades for some bigger bass. The only place I know to go is the canal that runs down tamiami trail west of krome.(thats all I have access to bc I don't have a boat) I haven't had any luck yet and was wondering if you knew of any other bank access around this area thats any good.
