I'm a pointer fan to but a few years ago me & my brother fished all day without a bite & he tied on a X Rap , black & silver & went to catching fish like crazy & i was throwing a pointer 100 but not black & silver & not a bite. Then he lost it & not another bite. I bought a couple & i fished it all spring without changing baits , again X Rap , black & silver . I might of changed baits & colors but i was catching enough fish i wasn't going to. It might not ever happen again , but i got 3 of them , but i probably have 2 & 1/2 boxes of LuckyCrafts , 1 box of Pointers 100 . GodBless

Are they any way to keep a sonar screen clean , even the Pro's seems to have the same problem , their's looks as bad as mine ? Bass Pro's showed a way to do it but it did't clean mine . I think a screen saver would hurt the detales to much . I know it does my CellPhone . GodBless & Thanks to Everybody Who takes time to help me

Does the Chirp draw its own map of the lake, like it shows on FishingShows ? Does it color shade different depth ? Thanks BlueBasser86 , i got it today along with carpet glue & carpet coming Friday . I just found a clearance on Garmin 93 SV Chirp with transducer , $ 750.00 Total , At GPS Store , i e-mailed them they ordered a bunch of them . I've waited 10 Years for a SV & now i have a 9 in Screen something i've only dreamed about but never thought i'd have. ThankGod for the Blessing

I need seats to , i'm looking at Overton ProElite 2 seats $ 500.00 or Just fix my own i know they will fit but they sure look Sharp.

I have found the Garmin echomap 93sv with chirp & transducer for the same price as the Garmin echomap 73 sv chirp & transducer. I don't know what the difference is , the product reads the same as far as SV & Chirp , i don't know which to get i'd love that 9 in screen. Its at The GPS Store if anyone looking to get one. About what water temperature does the RattleTrap keep in ? My #1 bait use to be a StickBait , now thanks to my Brother, One fishing trip with Him changed me for life . Everything i had was slow speed just lazy fishing , worms , lizards , SoftPlastic. He went with me in about April & i had my SoftPlastic on & he said You got any RattleTraps , gota few some where , got em out & the rest is History , Changed all my reels to HighSpeed , Now 7 Ft Rods & a 3700 full of Yo-Zuri RattleTrap . How i love throwing them but its all i wanta throw. I've tried to learn a spinnerbait & SwinJig but i just don't have no luck, i know its me because of this forum. I've been wanting a GPS/Sonar SideView Scan , i'm looking at a Garmin EchoMap Chirp 73 Sv . Good One or Bad One , ive never had one all i've ever had is a Lowrance GPS/Sonar with a map Chip. GodBless & Thanks For your Help

How does it compare to the Garmin EchoMap Chirp 73 SV ?

I'm looking at a HumminBird 409850-1 Helix 7SI GPS/FishFinder with SideScan , i know nothing about this unit , Any information or advice would be helpful i've wanted a SideScan for a long time & their finally going down in price a little bit . I don't want a screw up & order something i will regreat. I've always bought Lowrance GPS/Combo & i had Sonar & gps , does this.

I had several close call's to before i finally went in , i think i had to many rods on the front deck , that's something i won't do no more but i do think keeping your cool & having a plan. I fell in & sunk like a rock , swimmed back to the top of the water , grabbed the boat for a few seconds & caught my breath & worked my way to the big motor & got on the fins & trimmed the motor up & got back in my boat. Keep using that motor trim on your mind it may save your life. A friend told me about doing it probably over 12 years ago , but i never forgot it , ThankGod & anyone who reads this don't you forget it . It saved my life maybe i'll save your's to . had no ideal this topic would get so many replys, and some good ideals
