Best Jig Type For Rocks
The main pond i fish has rocks all the way around it and they go out about 10 feet from shore and 5-6 feet deep. They are smaller rocks maybe a little bit bigger than your hand and i was wondering if there is a certain head type of a jig that would slip over the rocks better than others? Im using watermelon rage craws for trailers. Thanks

Id This Please...baitfish
Are they very good for catfish bait? How do u rig them up?

Id This Please...baitfish
I did some more searching and found out they hybridize with other panfish. Some of the others are lighter so that explains it. Green sunfish it is. Thanks

Id This Please...baitfish
These are all over the pond I fish and I'm curious what to call them. I've googled green sunfish and they look similar but these are yellow instead of green. The yellow sunfish pics I saw looked different. Thanks http://s1132.photobucket.com/albums/m576/red08yaris/Snapbucket/?action=view¤t=2012-05-16_18-23-27_315.jpg

Shimano Cardiff 200 For Swimbaits?
I went by my local BPS today and picked up a St. Croix Mojo 7'9" heavy fast swimbait rod, a Cardiff 200 reel, some 20# P-Line CXX, and a few BPS swimbaits. The guy said last night they had Spro swimbaits but they only carry the cranks from Spro. What type of knot do you use for the swimbaits since they are heavier?

Shimano Cardiff 200 For Swimbaits?
Would an Abu Ambassaduer C4 be a better choice over the 200 series Cardiff? I noticed it could hold a little more line for around the same price.

Shimano Cardiff 200 For Swimbaits?
So would mono work for now and then upgrade to braid when I get a 400? If so then what # would be good to start with?

Shimano Cardiff 200 For Swimbaits?
I've never used braid before. What # and brand would work?

Shimano Cardiff 200 For Swimbaits?
Will this reel be enough for a swimbait setup? This is the only model Cardiff that my local BPS has in stock. I will be getting a 400 when I find one. Is there another reel that is better for the money? I will be throwing Spro 6" baits and some BPS swimbaits until I upgrade my reel. I will have it on a St. Croix Mojo 7'9" H F rod. What line should I use? Thanks

Cheaper Reel For Swimbaits
Could I use the same line for both swimbaits and a-rig? I know the a-rig calls for big braid but are swimbaits the same?
-
Cheaper Reel For Swimbaits
Wondering what reels could handle 60-85 lb braid with ease. This will be my first heavy reel. Im going to get the St. Croix mojo rod 7' 9" heavy fast. Will be throwing 6-8" swimbaits and some a-rigs. Thanks

Jigs Or Swimbaits
I'm was looking to try out swimbaits but I'm trying to decide between swimbaits or flipping jigs. Either one I choose I will have to get a new rod and reseller. The lakes I fish have no weeds in them. One has rocks around the edge and the other has stumps in it. My question is which setup should I go for? I've never flipped with anything except a spinning rod. Any advice will help. Thanks. Which setup produces more? I'm wanting to start out with the 4" floating bbz1 shad ifalso i choose swimbaits.

Swimbait Setup For Beginner?
Gonna try throwing swimbaits so I can hopefully start catching bigger bass. What would be a good cheap way to start that I could buy at Bass Pro? Any advice helps. Thanks

Z9R Swimbaits
What kind of setup do you guys use and what # line for the swimbaits? I found a couple of shimano Triton plus 4500 spinning rods and reels for cheap used. Are these workable for swimbaits? The guy also has a Abu Garcia baitcasting reel also. Thinking real hard about it if it will work just to start out with.

Z9R Swimbaits
I'm going to get into swimbaits and looking towards the BPS Z9R series. Has anyone had any luck with these and what size bass have you caught off them? I will need to get a bigger rod and reel so I need so suggestions on that also. Not trying to break the bank. Thanks
