  1. Took it out for the first time today. It did great. Didnt get any pics b/c it poured rain the whole time. Even with the rain I caught 7 bass. There was 2 more boats out on the small lake I went to and 5 of the 7 fish I caught was where the bigger boats couldnt go. I think this thing is gonna work out great.
  2. Thanks. Like I said in an earlier post..Its not much but im proud of it.
  3. Think I finally got the pics to work.
  4. Taking it out in the morning. Dont know if ill do any good fishing b/c supposed to be triple digits and 100% humidity. But will at least know how this thing is gonna work out.
  5. Will do. Hopefully pics are coming. Will take some tomarrow while out on the water.
  6. I know thats right. I just had to buy a new tackle box and totally re-supply b/c someone stole my other one...Dont want to loose it.
  7. This one says that you can stand and fish on this one also but that is to be determined.
  8. Just brought home a new ride. Wanted something that I could use in these creeks around here and something I could use when just I wanted to go fishing instead of breaking out the big boat. I am super excited to get in the water tomarrow and see what itll do. 3 fishing pole holders, area behind seat to store tackle box and cooler, and dry storage in the front. Its a Heritage Angler 10. Should be stable enough and also be able to support my weight and the weight of all my gear. Thanks for your time.
  9. Ive got a boat almost exactly like that one. I love that thing. I did a lot of work on mine also. Found it in the woods. It had been laying there for 12 years. I got mine looking nice but i didnt have the time to do all the stuff you did to it.
  10. I am wanting to get into kayak fishing. That way I dont have to load up the boat every time I go fishing by myself. I think it would be great to be able to paddle around the banks of my local lake and creeks fishing. Especially at night. And there it is, figuring out how to rig lights on the kayak for night fishing. Have to have a front red/green light and a rear light for night fishing. Have any of yall done this? If so I would love to see pics of it and any pics of other ways you have modified your yaks for fishing. I am trying to find a cheap used yak before I go and buy a new one...Cant afford a lot but have found a few for around $200 new. Looking forward to seeing your pics. Thanks.
  11. Great fish! Here locally at the Neely Henry dam they get very large. You can spend 2 or 3 hrs out there and leave with a stringer full using nothing but a spoon.
  12. Thanks...I will try that when I get home tonight.
  13. My nephew had a t-ball game last night close to where I work. I live an hour from here so when I got off work I went to the spot and did a lil fishing to pass the time instead of driving all the way home and then having to drive back. I got to fish for 3 hrs. I caught 5 large mouth and a rock bass. I had a blast. There are 2 massive bass in there but I just cant seem to get them interested in my bait. I got one of them to go after my senko once yesterday but it didnt take it. The big ones just swim up to it and then turn away...I have tried all kinds of baits and they are just not interested...even when I try to get a reaction bite outta them....Oh well...I had a ball anyway...The ones I caught were between the 2 to 3 LB range. Thanks for your time guys.
  14. Hello and Welcome.
  15. I would if I could get my pics to post
  16. I finally got my boat ready for the water. I got this boat out of the woods. It sat there for 12 years from what the guy told me. It was full of junk, floor was rotted out, and had a bunch of leaks. I also had to do a bunch of work on my 4x4 so I could pull it with it. It had been broke down for 8 months. Finally got off my rear and fixed it. My ranger just wasnt enough to pull this heavy fiberglass boat out of the water and up the ramp so I had no choice but to resurrect the Zuki. Took it out to the lake today. The Zuki pulled it great, the motor ran awesome, and no leaks. I even had time to wire up the lights to a toggle switch and install the depth finder. This might not look like a lot to a bunch of you guys but I have put almost every spare minute I have had into this thing (besides some time for fishing). If you would have seen this thing when I started it you wouldnt be able to recognize it now. Now its time to take it out and get some time learning the parts of the lake I cant get to by land. Well..I was going to show you guys a pic but it says that it is too big to upload and I dont know how to resize it.
  17. LOL...That it is...It was a big ole soft shell turtle though.
  18. I work at one and try to fish there every afternoon after work....A T-rigged senko works great for me. For some reason I have to fish it slower than other places but has been working great.
  19. Well...Got of work yesterday and went to the fishing spot. I normally catch and release here but the first fish I brought in had swallowed the hook so I figured I would put him on the stringer and bring him home and cook him up. I got 2 more good ones so since I was bringing one home I added them to the stringer so I could make a decent meal out of it for my wife and I. After I got done fishing I went to get my stringer and a very large turtle had tore up my fish and was sitting there munching down. I didnt even get to take a pic of them. Guess next time imma have to put them in a bucket.
  20. I am interested in this also. Hot weather fishing has been difficult for me. I know what bait I like to use but finding the fish on hot days has been my foe.
  21. Thanks Royal.
  22. Sounds like you had a ball...Great fish!
  23. Thanks. Dont know if yall can help me become a better fisherman over the comp. Think it will take a lot more than that LOL... I love fishing but am far from trying to claim that im good at it. Any time Glenn. I have really enjoyed your videos.
  24. I work in a rock quarry. When I got off work I decided to go down to the old sump hole in the quarry and try my luck. This is the first I have tried fishing there. I was down there for about an hr and a half and caught 2 decent bass and 2 real good brim using a texas rigged worm. It is a series of 5 pretty good size ponds with pleanty of cover. It will be a great spot to go when I get off too late to try to go somewhere else. Super excited about it. See ya guys.
  25. It stinks doesnt it? Makes you think what were doing wrong. Just read a thread from a guy about 2 hrs north of here that cought 30 something fish in a day.
