  1. One more quick question what in your opinion wpuld be the best lure to quickly find out if bass are present....I recently have grown attached to a chartreuse zoom super fuke mainly because that's what I have been catching all of my bass in the last month on that lure and all have been over 2lbs but that's when I fish lake bistineau in doyline, LA
  2. Anybody know any good areas around shreveport/bossier to fish from the bank for bass would deeply appreciate it
  3. I am new to bassresource and I've fished a little throughout my life growing up, but now I am 23 and a father and a husband and have really gotten into fishing this past year....my wife fishes with me everytime and we have struggled in the beginning....we started fishing at a place called cross lake in shreveport on the banks and renting a jon boat and didn't have much luck but recently started fishing lake bistineau and have been doing pretty well even though it is summer....we are still in need of a decent bass fishing body of water closer to home when we can't travel, find a babysitter, and ect...
  4. Appreciate the tips guys....well in most of the ponds there is zero cover, but in one I did catch a gar and a crappie on a popper and there are schools of minnows in the pond....I will introduce myself very soon....thanks again purple and gold all the way
  5. hey guys im from northwest louisiana and I have seen so many ponds that i could fish but i dont know if they are bass ponds or not....some are in neighborhoods and apartment complexes some are in the woods.....is there anyway to find out if there are bass in there without spending days fishing it and not catching anything thanks, bassjoker21
