    Miller pond in durham is decent shorefishing if you just just a day out. I reccomend if you visit the pond you hike to the harder to reach spots. Wink wink. Also I will vouch for candlewood bantem lake. Zoar is also good. Good luck and most importanty, have fun.

    I recomend that all of make a point to fish Bantem. The lake has a diverse range of oppertunites. Pike, bass, panfish, and lots of all 3. Not to mention, you can just as easily catch all 3 even if your just shorefishing. Theres some monters in there too. Please go find them.
