hey guys, so i am really new and have nobody around me that knows much so i am loaded with questions. i fish in a small lake near my house here in quebec canada and i know that smallmouth are there because i have gotten one, just one, i hit the lake every weekend at around 6 a.m till 10 and sometimes in the mid afternoon in my canoe. it is pretty hot now and it has been dry so the lake is getting pretty low in spots, i need any advice at all about tricks or what kinda lures or bait to use in mis hot summer, thank from a newbie that whants to learn.

picked it up yesterday. used it for a few ours thismorning. didnt catch anything worth bragging about but am verry happy with the reel.

the local hardwear store is having a 40% off sale on pfleuger president reels but they only have the 6935, second to bigest one. i fish mostly in a small lake and have gotten a few walley a few small mouth and a bunch of litle pearch and stuff. i just got a mojobass mediam and fish allot of smaller spinnerbaits like the pond magic, will this size be ok or is it to big. i will be doing some bigger lake fishing on vacation as well.

eneded up getting a mojobass 6.8 mediam localy for 70$ canadian. another place in town has a president spinning reel on sale starting tomorrow for 40% off but they only have the 6935, it that a ok size to go with this rod and 8 or 10 lbs nanofil.

ok so i am pretty new. i whant to get a decent spinning rod and reel. i have about 200$ -_250$ in the fish fund. i fish mostly a small lake and love fishing with sminnerbaits but what something a bit versitile. been looking at a bass proshop extreme sinning combo or maybe a mojobass. the mojo and most others i can get locally but the basspro stuff i need to order. any sugestions will be apreciated. also i have litle idea about length or action choices..
