The peacock bass are thriving in South Florida, primarily Miami-Dade and Broward Counties...We've caught a few in southern Palm Beach, but nothing close to what we've caught further south...After the cold fronts a few years back, the population diminished but because of the last two rather warm winters, the peacocks have reproduced and begun showing up in just about every lake and canal system. I'm new to this forum and wanted to share pics, but it keeps telling me that the files are too big...Any suggestions of how I can post pics for you all to view? Enjoy...
