  1. I don't know the gate numbers off hand but I usually go off of route 70. If you're trying for largemouth, look for coves with weedy cover. I've caught them mostly on soft plastics (gulp sinking minow, plastic worms) in darker colors. For smallmouth, I've been having a lot of luck dragging a crawfish imitation soft plastic(with bioedge scent, in a brownish color) along rocky bottoms. This time of year I usually have the best luck in the evenings, between 6 and 10. I've heard shiners are good as well but I haven't used them.
