How do you guys fish these baits? I picked up some smallie beavers but havent had much luck with it. I've tried T-rigging it and dragging it with a football jig head. I fish in a river with light current.

My experience has been that when the wife doesnt question a large fishing purchase, the real troubles coming next credit card bill. Last fishing trip produced great results with a soft plastics color switch. This has sent the bait monkey howling.

I like the Rapala DT Thug and DT Flat, a little harder to find in stores these days but some can be had at reasonable prices online. Both have pretty decents size and bounce off the bottom well.
