was fishing about 2 years ago up north in Ludington MI and i was fishing with a little golden Kwikfish type lure for bass, caught a few nice ones and all of a sudden as I'm lifting the bait out of the water, a 38" tiger muskie jumps out after in and into the boat! I'm not kidding! it was amazing

hey guys- so i was wondering if you are using braid with a lipless crank in submerged weeds, will the braid be able to rip it out and be weedless or would you recommend running it above the grass?

if you guys had to pick, would you pick a spinnerbait or a lipless crank...why?

can i use monofilament?

what lb test?

what kind of line do you guys use when fishing jigs?

what about a swim jig? isn't that also good for locating fish

more so swim jigs..sorry about that! but that makes me curious when do you fish a jig thats crawled/hopped alone the bottom?

as long as you don't cause any physical damage to the bass, they should be fine

and the time of year late spring to late summer

oh ok i understand. the lakes i fish have lots of weeds and little to no structure in the lake besides little coves and shoreline vegetation

and also what is your favorite swim jig/ regular jig trailer?

ok thanks i think I'm going to start out with a jig experimenting with trailers and if I'm not getting any bites switch to a spinnerbait

so basically, spinnerbaits are better for open water and jigs for specific structure?

hey guys! i was wondering, when is it better to fish a jig over a spinnerbait? what are the best conditions and cover to fish one or another? I'm just having some trouble lately deciding which one i should use? any help is appreciated! p.s which one catches you more bass? and in what conditions and where? thanks!!!!

your welcome! pick your favorite 4 inch worm with lots of action, throw it around structure and cover and go SLOW you should be able to catch fish. let me know how it goes!
