  1. I believe I will go exchange the motive tonight. The side cover is a pain to get off unlike my purist. Also believe the motive is missing one of the brakes on the drag. only 5 little red "hats" and not six like the display one. Figured for the same money the Accurist is probably a better choice Ill take a look at the pflueger's they had in stock while I'm there. I was casting good with heavier lures not very well with the lighter. Might just used the purist for lighter bait.
  2. Anyone have any reports on the wichita area? Anyone fish Watson park in particular? I work right there and will start going on my lunch break even there. Didn't know if there was good spots for bass.
  3. Not a huge selection of Pfleuger here. Felt the reels and thought my Purist was just as good wanted something different to try. I do like the feel of the h20 ethos rod though. Maybe I was doing something wrong on the accurist to make it backlash but I've only ever backlashed on landing when I started out.
  4. Yea I made some cast with the Accurist. It was nice but backlashed on me like it has never before....during the cast backlashed and snapped the line an slung my clackin rap into the lake. I'm not a pro baitcaster but have had little issues with my Pflueger Purist setup. It did it more than that time. I had the setting on high as they could go to start out with it also. Ill take the motive out tomorrow on lunch to see what it will do.
  5. I recently purchased a Quantum Accurist 6.3.1 ratio reel. While searching for info after using seen some reviews on h20 reels from academy. Went to back to academy after searching online and tried the h2o motive reel. So I swapped the accurist for the motive cause it felt a little better in the hand size wise. Did I make a good choice or should I go back to a Accurist? Which after checking out the local walmart has them on clearance for $49.00.
