  1. I got two 7 footers (med/fast) I use for Carolina rig and texas rig.......... and a 7'6" retractable (med/hvy) that I use for frogging/top water....... I just couldn't justify $100+ rods anymore so the price for the Procyns met my budget.
  2. I rig mine on a falcon lures 1/32 oz hook (size varies between 3/0, 4/0 and 5/0....mostly 3/0). The weight is on the shank which sort of helps keeps the fall horizontal...
  3. 9 lbs even. Caught in the reeds at Toho during the FL Federation State Tournament in 2011. Caught on a black w/ chartruese flakes at 2pm on the final day. Won big bass for the day!! Woohoo!! LOL Overall I think I use the senko way too much and want to spend time using other things..... I'll try and try others and not be successful, switch to a senko, and bang, catch a fish. Tough to leave the bait when you do most of your catching with it.
  4. I sorta fished Okee "unconventionally" this past weekend. Rather than fishing grass/hydrilla etc, concentrated on all the dam areas in the rim canal. 14.8 Saturday and 10.5 Sunday (after missing the first couple hours with engine trouble). Lost what looked like a couple 4 pounders when they spit them out on a jump. Can't wait to get back there again a look into more grassy/hydrilla areas............
