How To Cast Soft Plastics Far, They Are So Lightweight That They Never Go Far..
I'm going to put a couple Ci4's to the test this year for throwing weightless soft plastics. I'd rather fish with a bait caster rather than spinning gear. I do use them I just prefer not to.

Crankbait Storage
I store my baits in separate slots when I'm not fishing. I decide what I am going to use each outing and pack accordingly. I want a limited amount of boxes to lug around when I fish tournaments or bank fish. I don't worry to much about scratching the baits unless they are the big swim baits that I have spent a chunk of cash on one. For those I use hook bonnets. I want most of my crank baits smashing into rocks or timber. They get beat up pretty good at times.

Rage Bug! Whoa!
I will be testing the Bug against the D-bomb. As long as the bug has been tested, I'll bet it is just as solid if not better. Most of my plastics are Rage at the present time. The only thing I have been wanting is a beaver style bait. I can't wait!

Siebert Outdoors Spinners
You won't be bothering him. I've sent him some PM's. Just be patient on response time. This will be his busiest time of year.

D-Bomb
I honestly think it won't matter how many people use them. The rings on the body creates water displacement. Rings can definitely make a difference IMO.

What Does This Mean?
There's nothing to be confused about. Some of my best days fishing or hunting have been when the conditions are less than ideal. I don't ever look for the ideal days anymore. I just get out there whether I get skunked or not. You're not going to catch them on the couch.

D-Bomb
T-rig, jig trailer, Jika rig. It is one of my favorite beaver baits. I am anxiously awaiting the Rage Bug. I love my beaver baits and with SK's success with the Rage products, I'm sure they won't disappoint.

Cleaned My Curado Greenies
Other than doing light maintenance, I've never torn down a reel myself. Since I am in the process of upgrading my reels, I'm definitely going to take better care of them. I'll be sending them to someone for sure. Oh and if you don't like sales pitches, I'd ignore a bunch of the advice on this forum..... I am not sponsored by anyone. I have no agenda. I promise you that if I give you a sales pitch, it is because I believe in a product or service. Not because I get anything in return. So......what I'm saying is this, most of the fellas on here has a sales pitch. Use the advice or the suggestion. Or don't. There's no need to disrespect anyone for helping out.

Tackle Warehouse Does It Again
Yes. When it says in stock, it means the expected time the manufacturer will have their product to TW. I watched the Hudd dates religiously. They kept changing the dates. I emailed TW and told me how it works. I then purchased an order for them anyways and I received the package this past Wednesday.

Interesting Observation
Sunday I used a Ci4 paired with a Crucial flipping stick. That combo is 400 plus. My son was using a 200 plus setup. Long story short I caught nothing. Although I helped my little girl more than having "my" stick in my hands. Dylan caught his fair share of bass and one crappie over about a 4 hour time frame. My little girl caught the biggest fish on a Princess Pole. It doesn't matter what setup you use. What matters is that you go. That you enjoy the experience and have a ton of fun fishing. I agree with red earth 100%. I just choose to purchase the higher priced setups. I don't necessarily "need" them. Like RW said, IMO it makes it all that more enjoyable for "ME"

Tackle Warehouse Does It Again
My Hudds are due to arrive today! I have always had my order from TW show up in 5 days or less. Just in case you brain farted and forgot to add something to a previous order. It is nice if you have to have the order before a tournament that they offer such cheap overnight delivery.

Homemade Chatterbaits
Hey Blue, if you don't mind me asking, what size split ring are you using to attach the blade? Thanks.

Homemade Chatterbaits
Hey Charlie47, don't apologize. It's no big deal. Tackle Warehouse. BPS- Bass Pro Shop. BTD- Bass Tackle Depot. Just to give you a few more. Guys use abbreviations to shorten their replies. The one that got me when I started here was K.I.S.S. keep it simple stupid.

Princess Pole Success.
I don't own a boat and I could never get Dad to buy one! "What do we need a boat for? The bank is free!" That is what he always told me. Come to find out, my Dad can't swim. So I bet he wasn't to keen to own a boat for that reason. He always would take me out. Catfish or Crappie is what he goes after. He hasn't been out in a while now. I get to take him and go here real soon. These last few years has been tough on him. His heart isn't so great. He won't hunt by himself or fish by himself anymore. So if I don't go with him he won't go. I think he's scared something might happen and no one will be there to help. So I basically called him up a few weeks ago and told him to gear up. We were going soon. After the day I had with my children on the bank Sunday, I can't wait to get out with Dad.

Bass Pro Shops 6 Pay
I utilize this option all the time. My wife even hints that 6 pay is available when she gets an email. To me that is a green light to spend away!!!!!

Princess Pole Success.
Thanks guys. I posted a couple more photos. With Dylan being 14 and Bostyn 4, this was the first time I have gotten them together to fish. I will be making sure I plan future days like this for sure. It's easy to say maybe next weekend. I just have to do it!

Princess Pole Success.
She wanted to use the "black" worm. It actually was a LFT 4"ring fry in Junebug. She put a good whooping on her brother and I. We caught a total of15 bass and 2 crappie, hers being the biggest. I casted the bait out for her and she just reeled it back. This pick was the 2nd cast on the ring fry. The rest of the time we used a flick shake and 4" Zoom finesse. Both in green pumpkin. All in all, one of the best days of my life, fishing my with my children and not wanting it to end.

Remember Your First Bass?
I remember it like it was yesterday. I grew up Catfish and Crappie fishing. I was probably 12 or 13. I purchased a SK 38 special spinnerbait at Walmart. It was a blue and chartreuse color with white blades. I caught the fish in a private pond. I slow rolled the bait past the edge of some lily pads. The water was gin clear. I seen the fish dart out and hammer the bait. I'd say it was a solid 2 pounder. I still have the spinnerbait and the combo I caught the fish on! Fast forward 25 years. I am now totally addicted!
