What's Your "go To" Worm?
This might have been asked before on the forum, but let's here what you got. For me, time and time again....I catch more fish and have more confidence in a Zoom Magnum Ultravibe Speed Worm. Is it just me or is this worm overlooked as one of the best fish catchers there is? I love a green pumpkin, California 420 & Junebug Red with the tail dipped in Spike-it 90 % of the time. Let's here your go to plastic...I mean the one you find yourself picking up a bag or two every time your at the tackle store. And give a shout out if your a big U-Vibe fan like myself!

Need Help Identifying Old Lures!
So my buddy gave me the old hard baits and can only identify a few. I know there's a snag less sally, some variations of miro-o-lures, hula poppers, and Rapala floaters. Any help on what they are, history, rarity and maybe even if any are worth any amount of cash would be greatly appreciate. Thanks in advance!

I've received my letter with info, card, sticker & patch. Box with hat, small tiptop bag and just got the 2014 Classic DVD 2-3 weeks ago. ALSO, about a week ago, I got a jerk bait and crank bait from fish hound for free (came with subscription as well). Also, 2-3 issues already. Signed up for new membership via website back in January, around the classic time.

Lake Eufala On The Alabama Georgia Line
Not a problem, and thanks! We are launching out of Bagby state park in Ft. Gaines, GA. So, if you have a choice launch there due to the 2-5m boat ride to the best spawning flats (east bank and the back of sandy branch). If your looking for good an abundance of vegetation, head north! Anything just below or above "lake point" is where it's at. Better summer fishing north I'm the pads IMO In case you were wondering either a GA or AL fishing license covers the whole lake!

Lake Eufala On The Alabama Georgia Line
Im fishing a club tournament there this weekend and fish it a lot over the year... It's going to depend on the weather from now till then. The current conditions are upper 50's with stained water. Some will be moving towards beds in the next two weeks, if not soon to be on them, with the low 60 deg. water temp. So,point being...shallow! My top 5,so to speak for this weekend will be SK 1.5 (DB craw), Lipless crank bait preferably something craw, B&B swim jig (B&B is a good color on that lake), weightless Senko and trick worm. You'll find your warmer water in the pockets/creeks on the northwest side of the lake (AL) and right now the clearer water is on the south end. Depending where your going to launch any side (AL or GA) will be good...Take a look at "The East Bank" (GA side near d**n), and Sandy Creek/Branch just north. On the AL side...Thomas Mill Creek and Chenehattchee have good shallows Good luck!

My Urban Pond Delima Yesterday....!?
I had so much crap running through my head yesterday and still do! I tried finnese t-rigand dropshot (didn't try a weightless senko, but should have) The would not move an inch at anything even being 1-2ft in front of their face. I think they saw me and it was over then, but again...i'd back way off too. a good bit of the bass were locked into one spot or area, but not beds. I saw 2 beds with nothing on them, but fry near the bank with small males "watching"......

My Urban Pond Delima Yesterday....!?
So, I went to a friends neighborhood's 5-6 acre pond yesterday....Here's a little info about it. It was cleaned out, enlarged and stocked about 3-4 years ago with tiger bass. You can bank fish all the way around the lake, which I do out there. It has sparse vegetation around the banks in 2-4ft of water and it drops, gradually, all most all the way around the pond to 15-20ft. I've caught 1-2# fish all day last summer up until late October or so, and haven't been back out there. So...we went 2 Sundays ago to the only point with a shallow bar and caught 15 or so 2-3# fish chunking and winding an XR50-Rayburn Red & Spinnerbait, they were on fire on this bar! So.....I go out there yesterday hoping to do the same or see some bedding fish, etc. The pond was super clear, and right of the bat saw nice fish, some singles some in schools, roaming every bank in 2-3ft. Even saw a couple 3-5 lbers, but didn't catch a single fish all day!!! WTH is up??? My approach with the high sun a warm weather was to stay a good piece of the bank and fan cast a rattling bait, spinnerbait, jerk bait, etc. After seeing literally a hundred fish roaming the banks, I spent three hours out there with not the first bite. Again I threw a rattling bait(copper red-eye shad, rayburn red xr50, spinnerbait, jerk bait, chatter bait, square bill, t-rigged worm, dropshot...but nothing!! Can someone help explain WTH was going on, what I might have been doing totally wrong, etc. I lost sleepover it!

That's a good question

The Yum Flash Mob Jr. & The Bbb's Cane Thumper
I have a Yum Flash Mob Jr. and several packs of the 3.5" Alewife Cane Thumper. Looking for recommendations on some good jig heads for this rig. I usually use 1/8th oz on the top and 3/16-1/4 oz heads on the bottom, but looking for a good brand to pair with the shad color Alewife. I've gotta a BPS gift card and need to order some! thanks for the input!

What To Expect During My First Tournament
In my experience, MOST all boaters won't rear end you too much. Some will but not think about it, just bring it up jokingly and they will realize. If it anything like my club and your a new to the club they will help you out in more ways than some, most of the time. Another couple things...In my club, you have to have your own PFD (pretty self explanatory) but also a weigh in bag. Ask the boater about his cooler space and that will determine if you can bring a sandwich, several drinks...etc. I ALWAYS have 2-3 Nature Valley bars and 2-3 cans of Vienna Sausage, because their nonperishable, and can keep them in my bag. Some boats/boaters will have whole lockers or a lot of space for your extra tackle, food, rain suit/jacket, etc...But don't count on it...again just talk with him pre tournament. I ALWAYS, take the straps & motor toter off the boat, unless they just want to, and put it back on after we take out...just courteous. But NEVER unstrap the main winch unless your asked or ask if he wants you too. It's always better to help the boater out with small stuff like that and running lights...etc in the long run As far as tackle/rods/reels..I have a good amount of stuff in those categories, but limit myself to 5 bait casters and maybe a spinning setup. I started out with a backpack/tacklebox from spiderwire that would hold 4 reg sizes boxes and all the extra plastics etc i needed. BUT found a much better way, depending on the amount of tackle you have and want to bring as a non boater. A medium size Bass Pro Shops yellow boat bag will hold a ton and is not too big. It will also hold a jacket, rain suit and weigh bag along with all my tackle and accessories. Its waterproof and all in one place...ive found that a lot easier, again if you want to bring that much and the you and the boater agree that its not in the way. In my club, we have the right to run the front of the boat and the non-boaters spots for half the day, which I've never used the option personally The only time I've been rear ended, and it's hard not to, is in the spring when they are on bed. But as all the posters have said...BE A HUMAN SPONGE and not only learn how to fish better, but tournament fish as well. I joined a 40-50 member club 4-5 years ago and was that sponge and made the top 10 and fished our classic last year, so learn, learn, learn! Good luck and tight lines.
